Task 1 : Portrait and landscape
In Portrait and landscape pictures the same affect of painting is used, instead of turning your canvas you turn the camera depending on what your subject is. When taking pictures you need to think about framing, framing is when you position your subject. Another important skill is including composition, compostion is when the elements around the picture are arranged.
Task 2: Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is a guidline which is used for visual images such as paintings, photographs and designs. The guidline splits the shape into nine pieces this is to help a photographer take the picture using this technique. It is important that a image which has a subject is one third down as the human eye can only adjust to one third of the page. The human eye is naturally drawn to a point about two thirds up.The main reason for observing the rule of thirds is to discourage placement of the subject at the center, when photographing o people it is common to line the body up with a vertical line that are on your screen, and having the person's eyes in line with a horizontal one. When photographing a still subject who is not directly facing the camera,
Task 3: Diagonal Rule

Task 3: Diagonal Rule
This rule applys to linear object such as roads, lakes and fences (anything that may have a a clear straight face) which is placed diagonally. The reason the pictures are diagonal is to add affect on the picture as it make it more interesting to look at. This also applys to to images with fewer straight lines such as the cost.
Task 4: Symmetry
Symmetry is an affective technique as it can make for a very eye catching composition especially in situations where they are not expected.
In this picture i took i believe that the symmetry was well used and made it look affective and nice to the human eye.
Task 5: Balancing Elements
Balancing the elements is when you place an object off-centre to make an picture more entertaining. to make the image look good it is important that you include two subjects the main and the secondary image, in the image above the main subject is the phone followed by the girl. the girl is simply in the picture to liven the image without her the image feels empty.
I believe that i used the skill well to pull off the balancing technique make the image look good.
